Carly Fiorina stand von 1999 bis 2005 an der Spitze von Hewlett- Packard. Ehe sie zu HP kam, war sie fast 20 Jahre bei AT & T und Lucent Technologies gewesen, wo sie verschiedene hochrangige Managementpositionen innegehabt hatte. Sie hat einen Bachelor of Arts der Stanford University in Geschichte und Philosophie, einen Master of Business Administration der University of Maryland und einen Master of Science in Wirtschaft der Sloan School am Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
